Typhoon Bavi Set to Make Landfall in Zhejiang on July 12 with 42 m/s Winds

According to the China Meteorological Administration, the center of Typhoon Bavi (super typhoon) is positioned approximately 460 kilometers southeast of the Zhejiang-Fujian border as of 9 a.m. on July 11, with maximum sustained winds of 42 m/s (14 levels) and a minimum central pressure of 950 hPa. The typhoon is forecast to make landfall along the coast between Taizhou and Cangnan in Zhejiang on the early morning of July 12. An orange typhoon warning remains in effect.
