Ukraine's FP-5 Flamingo Missile Strikes Russian Munitions Factory 1,000km Away on June 10

According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, on June 10, Ukraine's domestically developed FP-5 Flamingo cruise missile struck a Russian munitions facility in Cheboksary that supplies drone and missile components. The Ukrainian General Staff confirmed the attack hit the Vnir-Progress factory, located approximately 1,000 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

Defense Express reported approximately 5 FP-5 missiles were deployed in the strike, with an estimated 2 hitting their targets. The FP-5 Flamingo has a maximum range of 3,000 kilometers, a warhead weight of 1.1 tons—more than twice that of Tomahawk missiles—and a maximum speed of 900 kilometers per hour.
