According to Axios, the U.S. is deploying dozens of additional refueling aircraft to Israel on July 17 (local time) as part of expanded military operations against Iran. The U.S. currently has approximately 30 military refueling aircraft stationed near Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport and operates a similar number at Ramon Airport in southern Israel. Israeli officials said the U.S. could increase refueling aircraft to early-war levels within days, with President Trump evaluating expanded military options including strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities and infrastructure.
