Trump: Just half a sentence, and the U.S. could save $159 billion

Abstract generation in progress

Golden Finance reports that on April 25, U.S. President Donald Trump posted on a social platform, saying: “Those individuals and companies that have been taking advantage of our country for decades are now actually trying to get back $159 billion. And it all comes from a terrible and absurd ruling made by the U.S. Supreme Court on the tariff issue. Back then, they only needed to add a short half sentence—‘the United States does not need to refund the amounts already paid’—and our country would have had an extra $159 billion. This is even higher than the total value of most countries! Just think—if it only took a half sentence, we could have saved $159 billion. Can’t they do it for our country?”
