US media: Iran attacks cargo ship, testing US-Iran ceasefire agreement

Golden Finance reported that on June 26, according to the Wall Street Journal, two senior U.S. officials revealed that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard attacked a Singapore-flagged cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday, a move that tested the agreement signed last week between the U.S. and Iran aimed at ending the conflict and reopening this important waterway.
According to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), the attack damaged the ship's bridge but caused no casualties.
The attack occurred near the coast of Oman, hours after Iran's paramilitary navy had issued a warning demanding that ships not use unauthorized waterways.
