Ripo coin is a virtual currency issued by opencoin company, which is called ripple credits, also known as XRP, and its Chinese name is ripo coin. Ripple is the first open payment network in the world. It is easy and fast to transfer any currency through this payment network. The transaction confirmation is completed within a few seconds. The transaction cost is almost zero. There is no so-called cross-bank and cross-border payment cost. Ripple open payment system is a virtual currency network (distributed P2P clearing network) and future electronic payment platform. In 2004, ryanfugger launched the first implementation version of ripple. Its goal is to build a decentralized virtual currency system that allows anyone to create their own currency. At present, ripple is developed, operated and maintained by opencoin (now renamed ripplelabs).
