The main driving force behind this abnormal move is large-scale concentrated selling from the retail side. In the spot market, net outflows within 5 minutes reached as high as -$95.57M. Although main capital attempted to buy the dip (net inflow of +$18.95M for large orders within 5 minutes), overall scale was limited and could not effectively offset the overall short-term selling pressure. Although both ETH on-chain active addresses and daily trading volume have reached historical highs, and network usage and liquidity remain strong overall, the flow of funds has not formed a substantive spot buying bid, making it difficult to drive a price reversal.
At present, short-term market risk remains significant. It is necessary to watch the intensity of subsequent retail selling, the flow direction of ETF funds, and changes in whale holdings.
