Gate Web3 Swap has just received a major update. This upgrade revamps the underlying transaction logic, merging single-chain swaps and cross-chain bridges into one seamless process. It also adds support for native assets like BTC and ZEC, delivering a smoother and more flexible asset transfer experience.

1. Unified Swap and Bridge Mode
We’ve streamlined the transaction process by removing the distinction between "single-chain swap" and "cross-chain bridge."
- Unified entry point: The system automatically detects your target asset, so whether you’re swapping within the same chain or transferring across chains, everything happens through a single interface.
- Maximum efficiency: Enter your token, and the platform instantly matches you with the best route across the network. Single-chain and cross-chain operations are completed in one seamless step.
2. Expanded Multi-Chain and Native Asset Swap Support
We’ve added swap and cross-chain support for nine new public chains and native assets, covering a broader range of major blockchain ecosystems.
- New networks: Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Dogechain, XRP Ledger, Cardano (ADA), Zcash (ZEC), Aptos, Gnosis, Aurora.
- Native interoperability: You can now swap and bridge assets like BTC and DOGE directly, without complicated intermediary steps.
Feature Highlights
- Customizable receiving address: When bridging across chains, you can specify your target wallet, eliminating the need for a second transfer.
- Transparent routing: Aggregates DEX and bridge liquidity, fully displaying gas fees, cross-chain fees, and execution paths so every transaction detail is clear and transparent.
How to Access
Open the Gate App, switch to Web3 at the top, tap the [Trade] icon at the bottom, then tap the [Swap] icon at the top of the Trade page.
On the same swap page, you can request asset quotes, execute cross-chain transactions, and confirm results. The system automatically selects the optimal route and clearly displays all fees and transaction details.
