The balance points are the basic components of Gate Alpha points.
- Qualified asset scope: only supports tokens displayed in the Gate spot market and Alpha account that have been launched.
- Calculation method: The system will calculate points based on the qualified assets held in the user’s account on the Gate centralized exchange, using the real-time USD market value.
- Holding Duration: The balance points are calculated based on the asset situation over the past 15 days, encouraging users to hold assets for the long term.
2. Trading Points: Earned through trading activities.
Trading points are points that users earn through specific trading activities.
- Effective Transactions: Only the trading volume points generated by the user through "buy" in the Alpha selected section are counted. Selling actions and internal transactions are not included.
Calculation rules:
- The first purchase amount per day ≥ 2 USDT will earn you 1 point.
- For every doubled purchase amount, increase by 1 point (e.g., 4 USDT gets 2 points, 8 USDT gets 3 points)
- The design of this logarithmic growth structure allows small and medium participants to also enter the points range.
3. Special Activity Points: Obtain by participating in platform activities.

Point Inquiry Method
Currently, the Alpha points feature is only supported on App version 7.14.0 and above. Users can access the points page through the following methods:
- Open Gate App → Sidebar → Alpha Points
- Click on Alpha points in the upper right corner of the order panel in the App.
- On the App homepage, enter "Alpha Points" in the search bar and click to enter.
Points Snapshot and Update Mechanism
Understanding the update time of points is crucial for optimizing acquisition strategies:
- Snapshot time: The system will take a snapshot of users’ assets and transaction data daily at 07:59:59 (UTC+8).
- Update time: Points will be updated before 14:00 (UTC+8) on the same day, covering the cumulative points data for the past 15 days.
- Cycle calculation: If the trading time is completed after 08:00:00 daily, it will be counted into the next day’s points cycle.
