HTX DeepThink: Current crypto market sentiment is high with calm fluctuations, Bitcoin may break new highs.

According to Shenchao TechFlow news, on May 20, HTX Research analyst Chloe (@ChloeTalk1) pointed out in the latest issue of HTX DeepThink column that the crypto market is currently in a phase of “elevated sentiment, calm volatility.” The options market shows bullish sentiment prevailing, with a Call/Put holdings ratio as high as 1.55, and the premiums for bullish contracts continue to rise; however, the short-term implied volatility (IV) has been compressed to a new low of 18 months at 35-40%. In this case, Bitcoin may attack new highs again within 30-45 days, potentially breaking through the range of $105,000-$115,000. At the same time, there is a risk of high leverage accumulation, and once the volatility spikes or BTC effectively falls below $100,000, it could trigger a deleveraging cascading adjustment.

Chloe stated that in light of the current market conditions, under the premise of controlling the total holdings, reallocating some funds to high-quality altcoins with solid fundamentals and strong liquidity may be able to capture the spillover momentum brought by the rise of Bitcoin. Notable sectors include the leading project tokens in the SUI ecosystem, as well as AttentionFi represented by Kaito.
