Donald Trump Jr. stated the following regarding the situation in his statement:
The Trump Organization has no connection whatsoever with this wallet product. Eric Trump and I have no knowledge of this matter. Stay tuned, World Liberty Financial will soon launch our official wallet that we have been working on tirelessly.
However, there is also a possibility that the X post shared by Magic Eden is a fake announcement due to hackers taking over their accounts. The price of the ME token had seen a significant increase following the announcement.
