World Liberty Financial signs a cooperation agreement with a London hedge fund.

World Liberty Financial (WLFI), a cryptocurrency platform affiliated with the family of American President Donald Trump, has just announced a partnership with the Re7 hedge fund in London to launch a USD1 stablecoin reserve on the Euler Finance protocol and the Lista liquidity staking platform.

According to Bloomberg, this move is part of the strategy to expand the presence of stablecoin USD1 in the BNB Chain ecosystem.

Lista is currently one of the leading liquidity staking platforms for the BNB token and is operated by a DAO backed by Binance Labs – the venture capital fund of Binance exchange. Binance Labs invested 10 million USD in Lista (formerly known as Helio Protocol) in August 2023 to support the platform’s transition to a liquidity staking model.

WLFI is increasingly attracting the attention of institutional investors, in the context of USD-pegged stablecoins and the tokenization of real assets – two areas that WLFI is focusing on developing – being seen as crucial in enhancing the global competitiveness of the US dollar, a major economic goal of the Trump administration.

In April, DWF Labs - a major market maker - purchased 25 million USD of WLFI tokens and committed to providing liquidity for the USD1 stablecoin. Additionally, the digital asset investment fund Aqua1 Foundation also announced a 100 million USD investment in WLFI, highlighting the potential of stablecoins and tokenized assets in reshaping the global financial system.

In a public report to the Office of Government Ethics of America on June 13, Mr. Trump reported an income of 57 million USD from WLFI, primarily from token sales. However, since 2024, the Trump family has reduced their ownership stake in this platform by 20%.
