CoinVoice has recently learned that, according to Cointelegraph, the Metaverse platform The Sandbox has announced a partnership with GBM Auctions to launch its largest LAND auction event ever. This auction includes 110 virtual land plots (including 4 exclusive market maker plots) and 220 virtual avatars from 22 IP brands, all assets will be distributed through GBM’s “win-win” auction protocol.
This auction adopts an innovative model where unsuccessful bidders can receive incentive rewards, aimed at changing the traditional NFT sales model. The auction starts on July 15 and lasts until July 22. This is the first time The Sandbox conducts an auction publicly on the platform before the sale of its assets, marking an important shift in its asset distribution strategy.
