"Emotional Anti-Fraud Simulator" and "Escape from the Electric Fraud Park" have sparked heated discussions in the community as Steam life-themed mini-games.

When can we play Escape from the Electric Fraud Park? Officially launched in Q2 2026.

“Escape the Fraud Factory” ( hereinafter referred to as: Escape from the Fraud Zone ) is a four-player cooperative puzzle adventure game developed and published by the Chinese development team ZIGE. The game’s background is inspired by fraud zones in Southeast Asia, where players take on the role of characters deceived into the zone by false job vacancy messages. They must work together with other “pigs” to collect clues, unlock mechanisms, avoid patrols, and ultimately escape or collaborate to destroy the fraud organization. The game design includes branching endings, side quests, rescue scenarios, and has uniquely incorporated “in-game anti-fraud tips” as an educational element.

Escape from Electric Fraud Park is scheduled to be publicly available for players to experience in advance at Steam Next Fest on February 23, 2026, with a formal release timeline set for the second quarter of 2026. The development team stated that a reasonable pricing strategy will be adopted, and the final price will not exceed $4.5, approximately 150 New Taiwan Dollars.

The top five best-selling “Lao Nu” games globally are embroiled in controversies over the stereotyping of women.

There is also an interesting title on Steam, “Emotional Anti-Fraud Simulator”, originally named “Lao Nu Game”. It officially launched on the Steam platform on June 19, 2025, developed and published by Frontline Studio, directed by Hong Kong director Hu Yaohui, with the main roles played by Xu Yue, Xu Wei, and Liu Mengru. In the game, players take on the role of Wu Yulun, who was previously manipulated emotionally and deceived for money by a “Lao Nu”. To expose the tactics of “Lao Nu” and protect others, he establishes the “Anti-Lao Team” to infiltrate traps and crack emotional scams.

The game once climbed to the top five of the Steam global sales chart, with sales rapidly increasing, especially popular in the Chinese market. However, it also became embroiled in controversies surrounding female stereotyping and gender conflict. Some players support that this game can fill the gap in emotional education, but others criticize it for inciting misogyny and gender bias.

(The author adds: “Lao Nu” is a Cantonese dialect term, where “Lao” means “to make money, to get a sum.” “Lao Nu” refers to women who, with improper motives, use emotional manipulation and other means to obtain money from men. )

( There are many types of emotional scams, and several female KOLs in the cryptocurrency circle have been exposed as actually being hairy men! )
