Jin10 Data, October 28 - Microsoft (MSFT.O) has finalized a new protocol with OpenAI after long negotiations. According to a joint statement released on Tuesday, Microsoft will acquire a 27% stake in OpenAI, valued at approximately $135 billion. In addition, Microsoft will be allowed to use the technology of this artificial intelligence startup until 2032, including models that have reached the General Artificial Intelligence (AGI) benchmark. As part of the protocol, Microsoft will no longer enjoy the preferential purchasing rights for OpenAI Computing Power, but OpenAI has committed to invest an additional $250 billion in purchasing Azure services.
