According to ChainCatcher news reported by Dlnews, the police in Saint Petersburg, Russia, have arrested a man who attempted to rob a crypto asset exchange by detonating simulated grenades. The 21-year-old unemployed man entered the exchange office located on Khersonskaya Street in downtown Saint Petersburg, detonated two simulated grenades and ignited smoke bombs, and then demanded that the staff transfer all the exchange's crypto assets to his wallet. The Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Region Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that the suspect was apprehended at the scene and was carrying two unexploded simulated grenades. The police have charged him under Article 162 of the Russian Criminal Code (robbery).
