This year also marks the 12th anniversary of Gate’s founding. Reflecting on the platform’s growth, Gate has continued to make breakthroughs in trading volume and compliance development: spot trading volume and liquidity rank second globally, while futures trading volume and overall strength remain among the top three worldwide; at the same time, Gate has steadily advanced compliance strategies in key markets such as Dubai, Europe, Australia, and the United States, laying a solid foundation for long-term international expansion.

In the open letter, Dr. Han pointed out that 2025 will be a critical turning point for Web3 as it transitions from concept to practical application. As blockchain infrastructure, user experience, and compliance environments gradually mature, Web3 is moving out of niche technical circles and beginning to enter broader real-world use cases.
