BlockBeats News, January 2nd, U.S. President Trump signed an announcement on New Year’s Eve, delaying the tariffs on soft furniture, cabinets, and bathroom cabinets for one year under the pretext of ongoing trade negotiations, providing a buffer for American home consumers and businesses. The executive order signed by Trump on Wednesday retains the 25% tariffs on these goods imposed last September, but delays the 30% tariff on soft furniture and the 50% tariffs on cabinets and bathroom cabinets for another year, to be implemented on January 1, 2027.
