President Trump posts on social media claiming that U.S. ammunition reserves have “never been so sufficient,” capable of “fighting forever,” and points the finger at former President Biden, accusing him of spending hundreds of billions of dollars on aid to Ukraine without replenishing stockpiles. These remarks are seen as a direct response to recent warnings from military officials about “ammo shortages.”

President Donald Trump today posted on Truth Social, strongly rebutting recent concerns from military leaders about ammunition stockpiles, claiming that America’s weapon reserves are “more abundant and higher quality than ever before.”

Trump: Mid- and low-level ammunition “nearly unlimited supply”

In his post, Trump pointed out that, from medium to mid-high levels, U.S. ammunition reserves are at an unprecedented high. He described these supplies as “almost unlimited,” emphasizing:

Just with these reserves (better than other countries’ top-tier weapons!), we can “fight forever” and win very convincingly.

However, Trump also admitted that “high-level” weapon reserves are “good but not yet ideal,” and revealed that large amounts of additional high-tier weapons have been deployed overseas for U.S. allies.

Direct attack on Biden and Zelensky

Trump referred to former President Biden as “Sleepy Joe,” accusing him of handing over “worth hundreds of billions of dollars” in weapons to Ukraine’s Zelensky without any intention of replenishing stockpiles.

According to previous reports, the Biden administration has provided about $65.9 billion in military aid to Ukraine. Trump, after taking office, fully paused military aid to Ukraine and called for “peace sincerity” from Kyiv.

Military warned: high-level ammunition stockpiles tight

The timing of Trump’s post is noteworthy. Not long ago, reports indicated that the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff warned Trump that U.S. high-level ammunition stocks—including Tomahawk cruise missiles, Patriot interceptors—might be insufficient for long-term operations against Iran. Each Tomahawk missile costs between $1.5 million and $2.5 million, with limited annual production.

Trump publicly denied these reports, stating the claims are “100% incorrect,” and emphasized that he initiated military rebuilding during his first term, which is still ongoing.

Geopolitical tensions’ potential impact on crypto markets

The ongoing US-Iran conflict continues to influence global financial markets. BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes previously analyzed that the longer U.S. involvement in Iran lasts, the greater the pressure on the Fed to cut rates and expand its balance sheet, which could be a long-term bullish factor for Bitcoin and other risk assets.

Trump concluded his post with the statement, “America is fully stocked and ready to win big!!!” clearly aiming to boost domestic confidence and endorse ongoing military actions.

Trump claims to be “the GOAT of Presidents,” announces attendance at White House Correspondents’ Dinner

Besides military topics, Trump also issued a separate statement announcing he will attend the White House Correspondents’ Association annual dinner, an event he has previously boycotted multiple times due to dissatisfaction with media coverage.

In his statement, Trump called himself “one of the greatest Presidents in American history” and described himself as “the G.O.A.T. of Presidents.”

He said his attendance is to celebrate the 250th anniversary of American independence and vowed to make the event “the biggest, most exciting, most spectacular ever.”

From ammunition reserves to self-proclaimed GOAT status, Trump’s recent remarks show high confidence and continue to influence market expectations regarding U.S. policy directions.
