On June 30th, Jinshi Data reported that Major General Yuri Popov, Deputy Director of the Russian Reconciliation Center for the warring parties in Syria, stated that on the morning of June 29th local time, a dangerous encounter occurred between a MQ-9 Reaper drone operated by the US-led coalition and a Russian Su-35 fighter jet in the province of Homs, Syria. The Russian fighter jet was conducting a planned flight in Syrian airspace at the time, and the Russian pilot took necessary measures to avoid the incident in a timely manner.
