On September 4th, Jin10 Data reported that Alvin Tan, the Asia forex strategy director of Royal Bank of Canada based in Singapore, said, “The significant fluctuation of the Japanese stock market after the dumping of the overnight US stock market not only highlights the connection between these two markets, but also shows the highly negative correlation between the Japanese yen and the local stock market. The bull market in the Japanese stock market is largely related to the depreciation of the yen.”
