Lido on the Polygon network will be officially deprecated in the coming months.

PANews December 16th news, according to the official blog, Liquidity stake protocol Lido announced that Lido on the Polygon network will be officially discontinued in the coming months. After extensive discussions in DAO forums and community voting, LDOToken holders requested the discontinuation of Lido on the Polygon protocol, and this process will start soon. Lido stated that the strategic decision to re-follow Ethereum and the lack of scalability of the Polygon POS are the reasons for discontinuing Lido on the Polygon network. About the Sunset process: ① December 16, 2024: Lidostake on the Polygon network will stop and will no longer accept new stake through the UI; ② December 16, 2024 - June 16, 2025: A six-month transition period during which users can withdraw via Lido on the Polygon UI; ③ January 15 - January 22, 2025: the protocol will pause and then resume operation; no withdrawals can be processed during this period. ④ June 16, 2025: Front-end support ends, and after this date, withdrawals can only be made via browser tools.
