Warning! Jupiter official Twitter account hacked and multiple Pixiu Coin addresses posted

Coin Circle (120Btc.coM): Earlier, the decentralized exchange Jupiter’s Twitter account was hacked and several Pixiu token CA were sent out. These tokens are difficult to sell after purchase due to lack of liquidity. However, Meow, co-founder of Jupiter, implied in a post that the incident may not be so simple. However, Jupiter has announced that it has regained account management rights.

Jupiter official Twitter account hacked, multiple Pixiu coin Addresses were posted

JupiterDAO’s post stated that Jupiter’s official Twitter account was hacked and warned users not to click on any links or purchase any tokens mentioned in the posts. It is understood that after JupiterDAO’s post, Jupiter’s official account @jupiterexchange continued to publish fraudulent tokens, but all of these tokens are illiquid and cannot be sold. Many people have been deceived, and only a few have escaped because of the detection of illiquid tokens by trading bots or platforms.

Meow: Unable to contact the employee in charge of managing the community

Just when everyone thought it was the same as the usual Twitter hacking cases, Meow, co-founder of Jupiter, revealed the more terrifying part in a post.

He said, “This is much more serious than the ax hack on Jupiter Exchange. Can we track the whereabouts of @9yointern(, who manages Jupiter’s Twitter account, referred to as Mei)? As far as I know, she had urgent matters at home and was returning from MountainDao( event in Salt Lake City to Singapore. Our X account was accessed by an Android phone in the United States, and we cannot reach her at all. If you find her or know what happened, please let us know.”

Jupiter official has gained control of the account, and the employees are safe

Jupiter has announced that it has regained control of the account. No customer or financial funds were threatened. All programs and funds are stored in a secure multi-signature form. Other communication channels have not been affected. The issue is limited to Twitter itself.

Mei later confirmed her safety on Twitter, saying that she was on a long-haul flight with weak WIFI signal and all her mobile devices were with her.
