Inventory of 8 innovative projects on the Cookie DeFAI hackathon

Here are my thoughts on @cookiedotfun DeFAI hackathon.

It wasn’t until later in the event that I realized projects with tokens would be disqualified (even though many such projects were prominently showcased on the Cookie DeFAI hackathon dashboard).

Nevertheless, this hackathon still attracted many high-quality teams, who built very unique products.

From the list of winners, it can be seen that all the award-winning projects are brand new ideas.

Next, I will share several of the most interesting projects, starting from those that have been disqualified, all the way to the final winner.

Let’s get started.

1.AlphaSwarm by @TheoriqAI

AlphaSwarm is a Python-based toolkit designed specifically for DeFAI autonomous trading agents.

It allows users to get real-time market and social signals from @cookiedotfun and execute trading strategies across multiple blockchains in natural language. (Click for details)

2.Edwin by @buildwithedwin

Edwin is an infrastructure based on TypeScript designed to support the interaction between AI agents and DeFi protocols. With Edwin, users can create DeFAI agents for liquidity provision (LP’ing), borrowing operations, cross-chain interactions, etc.

@aiymx_agent is the first intelligent agent based on the Edwin infrastructure to provide real-time liquidity.

3.Homo Memetus by @homo_memetus

Homo Memetus is a DeFAI ecosystem that innovatively tokenizes trading strategies and, through simulating ‘natural selection’, allows these strategies to compete with each other (or with humans) to select the most profitable ones.

The vision and roadmap for this project is impressive, but it is still in the very early stages of development. (Click for details)

4.Anti-Rug Agent by @AntiRugAgent

Anti-Rug Agent is a comprehensive security tool designed for Solana developers.

It analyzes liquidity, wallets, internal transactions, codebase, and GitHub data through @repoanalyzer to provide users with AI security scores. This makes it one of the powerful tools for conducting due diligence (DD). (Click to view details)

5. Before AI (formerly known as CertaiK)

@CertaiK_Agent is a Virtuals-based tool that aims to make smart contract auditing more accessible. With AI, it can complete audits in less than 30 seconds, dramatically improving efficiency.

The team recently launched the AI Agent Secure Score feature and added LARP analysis, which is used to identify potential security risks, as a new feature. (Click for details)

Special Nominations (Smart Body Projects with Tokens)

@jailbreakme_xyz: Focuses on AI security and anti-cracking tests, which is crucial for the expansion and application of AI models.

Maya by @Flame__live: A unique DeFAI agent whose personality changes based on market dynamics and trading strategies, demonstrating the potential of AI personalization.

Cookie DeFAI hackathon winning project (non-token project)

Kudo

@kudo_archi proposed an innovative contract framework that can achieve complex financial scenarios through Covenant NFT (cNFT), such as unsecured loans, employment agreements, etc. This framework provides possibilities for high-level financial interactions between intelligent agents. Egg AI

@egg_ai_agent is an AI-powered copy trading agent with market research, analysis, and execution capabilities. It integrates the SocialFi layer and the AI autonomous research and execution layer to provide two trading modes:

Tren Egg: Fully automated copy trading mode.

Chad Egg: Allows users to customize and control the trading mode.

Aevia

@aeviaprotocol is the first agent to help users preserve their digital heritage. When a user passes away, Aevia can programmatically deliver messages, crypto assets, NFTs, and more to loved ones. In addition, the team has developed an agent that is able to contact users on a regular basis to ensure that they are doing well.

Special Nomination

@AgentXYZ_ai: A trading terminal that combines social functions and on-chain data insights. The recently launched AI-driven rating system can provide users with buy/sell operation recommendations.

Summary

Cookie DeFAI hackathon has achieved tremendous success, attracting many high-quality teams, and building a series of innovative DeFAI products through the DataSwarm API provided by @cookiedotfun.

However, it is regrettable that token-based projects have been disqualified from the competition - many of these projects have developed mature products rather than just staying at the conceptual stage. Hopefully, the next Cookie DeFAI hackathon will be able to accommodate more diverse participants, including teams with tokens.

Even so, the level of innovation at the event was amazing. DeFAI is breaking through traditional abstraction layers and autonomous trading agents, and more and more projects are beginning to leverage on-chain data and social sentiment data to explore truly unique use cases.

We have just taken the first step.
