Goldman Sachs: The revision of the Federal Reserve's economic forecast has a bit of a "stagflation" flavor.

MarsBitNews

According to Mars Finance, on March 20, Whitney Watson, Co-Head of Global Asset Management at Goldman Sachs, stated that the Federal Reserve adopted a cautious tone at this month’s meeting, maintaining its position while waiting for clarity on economic growth prospects and changes in trade policy. The revisions to the predictions made by members of the Federal Open Market Committee have a somewhat “stagflation” feel, as the directions of the forecasts for growth and inflation are opposite. Currently, the Federal Reserve is in a wait-and-see mode as it observes whether the recent slowdown in economic growth will develop into a more serious issue. ( Jinshi )
