Gold falls to $4,715, and the BTC volatility index drops sharply by 6.42%

Gate News, April 9, according to Gate’s latest data, the gold price fell to $4,715.82 per ounce, down 0.07% for the day; the silver price fell to $73.902 per ounce, down 0.19% for the day.

BVIX (BTC volatility index) latest quote 44.64, down 6.42% for the day; EVIX (ETH volatility index) latest quote 65.46, down 4.85% for the day.

In the foreign exchange market, the U.S. dollar to offshore Chinese yuan (USD/CNH) rose 0.02% for the day, with the current exchange rate at 6.83445; the U.S. dollar to Japanese yen (USD/JPY) rose 0.11% for the day, with the current exchange rate at 158.735.

Regarding global stock indexes, the Europe 50 index (EUSTX50, Europe’s benchmark for major stock markets) rose 3.83% for the day to 5,926.30 points; the UK FTSE 100 index (UK100, the benchmark for the UK stock market) fell 0.32% for the day to 10,652.42 points; the Germany DAX40 index (GER40, Germany’s benchmark for the stock market) fell 0.36% for the day to 23,972.89 points.

In commodities, WTI crude oil rose 0.59% for the day to $97.41 per barrel; Brent crude oil rose 0.68% for the day to $99.94 per barrel.
