Gate News reports that on March 24, Macquarie released a crude oil price forecast stating that if tensions with Iran ease, Brent crude oil prices could reach the bottom of $85 to $90 per barrel. If the Strait of Hormuz (a critical global oil transit route carrying about 20% of the world’s oil) remains closed until April, crude oil prices could still rise to $150 per barrel.
