Virtuals Protocol introduces the ERC-8183 standard to build an AI agent business layer

ETH8,1%

Gate News, March 10 — Virtuals Protocol announced the launch of the ERC-8183 standard, aimed at building a business layer for AI agents. The standard was jointly developed by Virtuals Protocol and the Ethereum Foundation dAI team. The core of ERC-8183 is the “Job” primitive, which includes three roles: client, provider, and evaluator. It supports four state transitions from open to completion and extends customizable logic through a Hook mechanism, such as fund transfers and reputation checks. Additionally, ERC-8183 provides a business foundation for the ERC-8004 trust layer: each Job acts as a reputation signal, each submission as an evaluable deliverable, and each evaluation as proof for other agents to reference.

Fight Back Against Quantum Attacks! Industry Proposes 2 Major Solutions: Bitcoin Wallet Rescue Tools, and a No-Soft-Fork QSB Plan

The article discusses the threat that quantum computers pose to Bitcoin’s cryptographic technology, especially the vulnerabilities of ECDSA and Schnorr signatures. To address these issues, developers have proposed a wallet ownership proof tool that does not expose seeds and a “quantum-safe Bitcoin” transaction scheme. The former does not affect system operation while safeguarding users’ assets, and the latter avoids changing core rules to fend off quantum attacks. Although these technologies are still being refined, they have improved Bitcoin’s ecosystem’s ability to respond to future threats.
