When trading futures, is intraday trading or trend trading more profitable?

I think my day trading is quite good, I believe that:
In terms of small capital, intraday trading is more profitable.
In terms of large capital, medium to long-term trends are more profitable.
But most of those who achieve significant success have basically accumulated it through small amounts of capital on a daily basis.
------OK, here are the key points-----
There are generally 2 trading modes:
1. High win rate, low profit-loss ratio, medium to high frequency,
2. Low win rate, high risk-reward ratio, medium to low frequency.
The first type corresponds to intraday short-term or swing trading,
The second type corresponds to medium to long-term.
Small capital cannot achieve medium to long-term investments. Even if medium to long-term investments can be profitable, they cannot quickly accumulate wealth due to the large cycles that limit opening positions. Unless one is blessed by fate and seizes a big market trend, rolling over profits to grow stronger. However, such opportunities are extremely rare, and even when they are seized, most people will exit halfway because they cannot bear the drawdown of unrealized gains.
Therefore, to quickly grow a small amount of capital, one can only engage in intraday trading. Although the mortality rate for intraday trading is high.
First, let's correct some concepts:
Intraday trading ≠ high frequency, ≠ holding positions at all times,
The fundamental reason for the high mortality rate,
It's not because of doing intraday trading.
It's not because of the fees,
but because:
Not following the rules,
Cannot quickly forget the pain of stop-loss.
and ignore the market risks after sustained profits.
The above is advice based on experience.
Here is the key output---
If you plan to do intraday trading, the following points can serve as a reference:
1. Use a simulation account or backtest historical data to create a trading strategy with a win rate of over 75% and a risk-reward ratio of 1:1 (can't figure it out? No worries, I will provide a few for you to test and modify at the end of the article).
2. Set the rules: If the unrealized loss reaches the stop-loss line, you must cut the positions without resistance. If there are two consecutive losses, stop trading for today. Don't run away at the first sign of unrealized profit; at least achieve a 1:1 ratio.
3. Capital Management: Position should not exceed 50%. For every 2 lots earned, increase position by 1 lot; for every 2 lots lost, decrease position by 1 lot.
4. For both simulated and real trades, it is necessary to review and analyze them afterwards, especially for real trades.
Eliminate the mentality of getting rich quickly and seeking revenge, and just like that, accumulate little by little.
------------
If you still have no direction and want to establish your own trading system,
You can start with a simple dual moving average strategy: there are three forms.
One:
Long and short moving averages, long-term flat or rising, short-term moving up, golden cross of long and short.
The K-line breaks in, set a stop loss at the previous low, and exit when the price breaks the long line.

Two:
Long and short moving averages: the long average is moving up, while the short average is either falling or flat; if there is a pullback, it does not break the long average.
K-line breaks in, set stop loss at previous low, exit on price breaking long line.

Three:
The long and short moving averages, the long line is moving up, the short line is moving down, and the price slightly breaks the long one.
The K-line breaks in, set a stop loss at the previous low, and exit when the price breaks the long line.

The above three are all trend-related patterns, the third one can be discarded as it has a lower win rate.
There are two types that can be brought to the table for research, observed from different cycles, and then add your own elements.
Finally settle down and become your code of conduct.
Then slowly, slowly, profit > loss.
In addition, here are 2 simple strategies to consider:
1 chestnut--
Moving Average + Breakthrough
A strategy for a friend who mainly trades the domestic market, with a win rate of 75%, a profit-loss ratio of 1.5-2, a cycle of 1 minute, mainly trading rebar, soybean oil, soda ash, glass, and methanol.
For example, taking a short position:
1. Three moving averages, MA5, MA13, MA21, three lines in a bearish arrangement.
2. Break through the previous low after consolidation, enter the market, note that it is after consolidation (three lines entangled);
3. Stop loss: previous high + 2 points;
4. Take profit: 1.5-2 times the stop loss.

Moving Average Major Pullback
A big boss mentioned a strategy in a chat, with an 80% win rate and a risk-reward ratio of 2-3. It's very simple, but the downside is that it relies on waiting with few occurrences, with a cycle of 1 minute, mainly trading rebar. 🅱️iya is the world's first multi-asset trading wallet, which allows you to easily exchange mainstream fiat currencies for digital currencies in real-time. It also provides a secure and convenient cash-out solution, effectively addressing the issues of freezing and asset management. Users can easily convert to cash and cash out through the U platform.
For example, shorting:
1. Three EMAs, periods 8, 28, 98, confirm the trend with three lines in a downward arrangement.
2. After the trend exits, wait for a pullback. When the K line touches the 98 line and forms a shadow, go short in the direction of the trend. If the price moves far from the 98 line, wait for the pullback to end and then go short again when it returns below the 98 line, but the best scenario is still the shooting line.

3. Stop loss: previous high +2 points;
4. Take Profit: Move Take Profit.
--- --- ---
Never think that the strategy above can be used to make money right away; it requires you to simulate and adjust it yourself to truly make it your own.
The core is to abide by the rules! Do simple things repeatedly!
