This episode of Luo Yonghao's Crossroads is really fun, where he and Jia Zhangke talk about various interesting and happy past events. This kind of poetic life is so fascinating.
My outlook on life has largely been influenced by my mentor during my graduate studies. "Intellectuals should not be poor," "The length of life is limited, but its breadth can be infinite"... the shackles of the world and my mind have thus been unlocked. In fact, everyone can have their own ordinary yet wonderful life, as long as the shackles in your heart are unlocked. This is a topic I want to talk about, but I don't know how to express it more straightforwardly. Let's take our time to sort it out when we have the chance.
