[December 10th US Stock Options Top List]
The Federal Reserve's last rate cut of the year has been implemented, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average soaring nearly 500 points. The S&P 500 is just a few steps away from a new all-time high. Risk appetite has warmed up, and options funds are competing around AI, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, Bitcoin assets, and consumer giants.
$TSMC(TSM)$ Bullish volume and large orders dominate the top three lists: $599 million USD in Calls, with nearly 100% Call ratio, but slightly net selling (B:S≈0.7:1). Large orders for 26/01 100C and 25/12 170/190C are mainly at MID, favoring higher strikes for turnover/coverage rather than full-blown bets. The stock closed around $310, with consecutive positive days recently. November revenue increased by over 20% YoY, and year-to-date revenue growth exceeds 30%, with strong AI industry momentum. Strategy: Long-term bullish view but cautious about short-term bubbles. Better to use 2026 slightly out-of-the-money bull Call spreads or selling distant-month Puts in batches as "limit orders." Avoid chasing short-term at-the-money Calls.
$Strategy(MSTR)$ Second in Put volume, with over 94% Put ratio, continuing recent heavy hedging against high Beta Bitcoin stocks. The company recently invested about $960 million USD to buy over 10,000 BTC, with total holdings exceeding 660,000 BTC. Bitcoin itself fluctuates sharply near $92,000, but the stock price has still fallen over 30% this year, showing high leverage and volatility characteristics. Strategy: This is a standard "BTC leverage factor stock." Suitable for small positions in structured trades—using 3–6 month bull Call spreads or wide spreads for bullish views, and bearish Put spreads to express bearish outlooks. Not recommended for retail traders to sell Puts naked or hold large short-term options positions.
$Tesla(TSLA)$ Third in Call volume, with nearly 80% Call ratio, net buying approximately $11 million USD (B:S≈7.4:1). Funds are truly increasing. The stock has recently oscillated roughly between $440 and $460. On one hand, strong end-of-year promotions like zero interest and zero down payment are clearing inventory; on the other hand, Musk continues to hype FSD and Robotaxi projects, creating a tug-of-war between expectations and reality. Strategy: Bullish but tolerant of volatility. Use 2–3 month slightly out-of-the-money bull Call spreads as alternatives to short-term naked Calls; for existing positions, sell Calls at higher strike prices in batches to lock in profits and hedge against profit pressures from aggressive promotions.
