【Blockchain Movement】MetaMask has recently launched a major update—on January 15th, it officially integrated native support for the Tron network in both mobile applications and browser extensions. This is a result of MetaMask’s collaboration with Tron DAO, marking continued strengthening of its multi-chain strategy.

What are the practical changes after the update? Users can now manage TRON assets directly within MetaMask, interact with DApps in the Tron ecosystem, and seamlessly exchange between TRON, EVM-compatible chains, Solana, and Bitcoin. In other words, managing your cross-chain assets is now more convenient.

Additionally, new features include the ability to send USDT and stake TRX on the Tron network. These two operations are very common in the Tron ecosystem—after all, the Tron network handles over $21 billion in stablecoin transfer transactions daily, indicating high market demand for such functionalities. Finally here, I've been waiting for MetaMask to support TRON so I don't have to switch wallets back and forth. Wait, is this cross-chain exchange really seamless, or do I still have to queue up for transaction fees? The Tron ecosystem handles 21 billion stablecoins daily, this number is outrageous, but honestly, there’s not much DeFi that can compare. I just want to ask, how is the APY for staking TRX? Finally, after waiting so long, MetaMask has truly integrated Tron. Managing assets is much more convenient now. USDT transfers are instant, no more switching networks back and forth. This update definitely deserves praise. The Tron ecosystem handles $21 billion in stablecoin transactions daily, that number is crazy.
