TAP is an OrdFi activation protocol that includes the TAP token standard, but is not limited to it, and is expandable.

TAP operates without using L2s, but uses a simple mechanism called touch to verify transactions within the protocol.
TAP's aim is to be the most powerful metaprotocol above the Ordinals by focusing on Bitcoin L1.
TAP allows for the provision of new features to the protocol continuously by community-driven management.
TAP consists of two parts, external and internal. The external part operates in the same way as BRC-20.
External:
Marketplaces/wallets are available to connect to TAP, copying existing BRC-20 infrastructures. Then, TAP's internal functions (see below) must be implemented or endpoints implementing them should be used to verify all balances (balance, available, transferable). From that moment on, TAP tokens can be bought and sold on their platforms like normal BRC-20 tokens.
Internal:
Users benefit from features such as token staking and trading. Mass transfer of tokens is already available. The community will decide which features will be added or updated using $TRAC (BRC-20).
