These past two weeks, I attended three small offline meetups.
I'm quite curious about how people find jobs during a bear market.
So I conducted an informal survey.
I received three answers: one from a man and two from women.
All of them started their careers on Bumble.
They didn't use any job search channels.
I guess it's not the kind of sex work (just a gut feeling).
Maybe they just chatted and, if it felt right, they got hired.

Hong Kong's crypto events always make me feel a kind of physiological discomfort. Half of the people I know are familiar enough for me to write a short essay, but their aura just feels off—maybe a quarter of the people I know are communicable, and this isn't limited to Hong Kong people. It's the same for other participants at Hong Kong events—Taiwanese, mainlanders, or foreigners alike.

It's not just Crypto; the internet is no longer a place where you can speak freely. It's not that someone won't let you speak, but the public opinion environment is such that you can only pander to the audience.
