Chasing highs and bottom fishing— which one makes money faster? Purely from the literal meaning, retail investors generally agree that bottom fishing is the way to go, not chasing highs. I’ve asked everyone before: is it faster to rise or fall? The consensus is that it falls faster. This underlying logic is flawed;
