Gaia Labs, a pioneering startup in decentralized AI, has successfully raised 20 million USD from Borderless Capital to develop the world’s first “native AI” smartphone. Unlike current phones that only integrate AI, Gaia’s device is built from the ground up with AI at its core, helping to optimize processing, security, and user interaction in a proactive and personalized manner.

This smartphone will also serve as a gateway to Gaianet – a decentralized AI network where users contribute computing resources and participate in governance, instead of relying on centralized AI platforms. This model provides data control, censorship resistance, and promotes community-driven AI development.

The upcoming phone prototype will mark the beginning of the Gaianet ecosystem, laying the foundation for a democratic and decentralized AI future.
