Securitize ernennt ehemaligen PayPal-Manager zum Chief Legal Officer und bereitet Börsengang über SPAC vor

PANews, 9. Dezember – Laut The Block hat das Tokenisierungsunternehmen Securitize bekannt gegeben, dass Jerome Roche, ehemaliger Leiter für Digital Asset Legal bei PayPal, als General Counsel eingestellt wurde, um das Unternehmen auf den Börsengang an der Nasdaq über den SPAC von Cantor Fitzgerald vorzubereiten. Die Übernahme wird voraussichtlich eine Bewertung von 1,25 Milliarden US-Dollar für Securitize bringen und das Unternehmen wird unter dem Ticker SECZ gehandelt. Securitize plant, seine eigenen Aktien zu tokenisieren und ist der Emittent des BlackRock On-Chain Treasury Fund BUIDL. Roche erklärte, sein beruflicher Schwerpunkt liege genau an der „Schnittstelle von regulatorischer Compliance und technologischer Innovation“.
