Anthropic Mythos Early Users Retain Access Despite U.S. Ban on June 19

According to Bloomberg, on June 19, early users of Anthropic's Mythos AI model retained access to the system's preview despite a U.S. government order that resulted in broader shutdowns of other versions.

Around 200 organizations, including banks and technology companies, continue accessing Mythos through Project Glasswing, a program authorized by Anthropic to identify network vulnerabilities, according to sources familiar with the matter. Dragos Inc. and Cisco Systems Inc. confirmed their access to the preview version.
