According to BlockBeats, Anthropic plans to secure at least 1.4 million kilowatts of data center capacity in Australia on July 5, with a total investment of up to $15 billion. The AI company aims to activate at least 1 million kilowatts by the end of next year, according to a confidential tender document cited by Australian media. Anthropic will make its final investment decision within six weeks, and the deal may be split into four to five separate contracts.
