Bitget Launches U.S. Stock Options Trading, First Crypto Exchange to Offer Service

Bitget, a leading universal exchange, launched U.S. stock options trading on July 4, making it the first major crypto exchange to offer options on U.S.-listed companies alongside its existing crypto, CFD, and commodities trading. The platform currently supports Long Call and Long Put strategies, enabling users to express bullish or bearish views on major stocks.

According to Bitget CEO Gracy Chen, the service extends the platform's Stock+ product line, which previously included tokenized stocks and pre-IPO investments. The launch reflects growing demand: in 2025, the U.S. options market processed over 15.2 billion contracts, averaging 60 million daily. Bitget plans to introduce more advanced multi-leg options strategies in future updates.
