Brazil Female Crypto Traders' Participation Surges to 29.96% of Transactions in 2025, Up from 11.34% in 2019

According to the Federal Revenue Service of Brazil (RFB), female participation in crypto transactions surged to 29.96% of trade volume in December 2025, up from 11.34% in 2019—a nearly threefold increase over six years. However, female investors' share of transaction value remained significantly lower at 12.88% in 2025, suggesting women execute smaller average trades than men. Brazil rolled out its crypto asset reporting system (DeCripto) in 2025 and began enforcing mandatory monthly reporting on July 1, 2026.
