CFTC: Speculators Increase U.S. Treasury Futures Net Short Positions by 3,452 Contracts Week of June 9

According to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), speculators increased their net short positions in U.S. Treasury futures on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) by 3,452 contracts to 163,305 for the week ending June 9. In detail, speculators reduced 2-year Treasury futures net shorts by 130,350 contracts to 1,219,838, cut 5-year Treasury futures net shorts by 49,056 contracts to 1,320,162, added 10-year Treasury futures net shorts by 34,232 contracts to 863,807, and increased ultra-long Treasury futures net shorts by 31,021 contracts to 318,731.
