CFTC: U.S. Treasury Futures Net Short Positions Rise as of June 2

According to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), speculative net short positions in U.S. Treasury futures increased during the week ending June 2. The 5-year Treasury futures net short position rose by 46,091 contracts to 1,369,218, while 10-year Treasury futures net short position increased by 41,621 contracts to 829,575. Additionally, 2-year Treasury futures net short holdings climbed 94,942 contracts to 1,350,188, and ultra-long-term Treasury futures advanced 27,868 contracts to 287,710.
