China's Foreign Exchange Regulator Enhances Data Accuracy and Transparency on July 17

According to Jin10, China's State Administration of Foreign Exchange announced on July 17 five measures to enhance international payment statistics accuracy and transparency. The measures include optimizing commodity trade data sources, improving international transportation service statistics, and refining cross-border e-commerce platform trade data collection.

Additionally, the regulator will introduce investment income data broken down by instrument type and expand foreign asset-liability data disclosure by sector and maturity period.
