According to CCTV, China's government work report included 'compute-power coordination' for the first time on June 6, 2026, elevating the computing infrastructure supporting artificial intelligence development from a technical breakthrough to a national strategy.

Anhui's Huainan City leverages a rare combination of coal-fired baseload power, renewable energy support, and integrated source-grid-load-storage systems to lead this initiative. A 1 kilowatt-hour of renewable electricity, originally valued at 0.5 yuan ($0.075), can yield up to 10 yuan ($1.50) when converted into cryptocurrency tokens for global markets, according to China Environment Holdings Group Chairman Yu Zhuyun. China's solar and wind power costs have reached 2-3 U.S. cents per kilowatt-hour, making renewable energy the world's cheapest power source.
