Blockchain analyst Specter raised alerts on X on July 10 regarding CodexField on BNB Chain, flagging suspected fraud and rug pull risks. The project, supported by the BNB Chain ecosystem, has raised over $85 million. According to Specter's tracking, the project moved $17.3 million USDT from Tron to Ethereum, then swapped it to DAI via Bitget and transferred to Polygon; $6.5 million has already been moved with $10.8 million remaining. The project operates multiple domains for user deposits, with Blocksec MetaSuites marking the deposit contract as fake, yet on-chain evidence shows the contract is controlled by the project team. Funds flowed through multiple chains and intermediary wallets to centralized exchanges, with over $3.4 million sent from Tron wallets alone.
