DS Asset Management Launches First Active ETF on July 14 with 1% Annual Fee

According to DS Asset Management, the company's first exchange-traded fund, 'DS KOSDAQ Active,' is set to list on the Korea Exchange on July 14. Unlike passive ETFs that track market benchmarks, the active product pursues alpha returns through fundamental stock selection, targeting mid-cap companies trading below 1 trillion won in market capitalization. The fund carries a 1% annual management fee, the highest among South Korean ETFs, with executives stating the strategy aims to identify quality small-cap stocks in high-volatility markets. DS Asset Management targets experienced investors who can tolerate above-market volatility rather than beginner traders.
