Fertilizer Shipments Through Persian Gulf Plummet From 20-40 to 5 Vessels Per Week Since June 30

According to Kpler and Bloomberg tracking data, fertilizer shipments through the Persian Gulf have plummeted since June 30, with only four empty vessels entering the waterway to load cargo. Fertilizer loadings have dropped from an average of 20-40 vessels per week before the conflict to approximately 5 vessels currently, according to Serena Piazzo, a dry bulk shipping analyst at ship broker Ifchor Galbraiths.
