Ford Achieves Top Ranking in J.D. Power Initial Quality Study for First Time Since 2010

According to J.D. Power's initial quality ranking released on June 25, Ford achieved the top position among mass-market brands in the U.S., marking the first time the automaker has led the study since 2010. The ranking, which assesses owner-reported problems within the first 90 days of ownership, saw Ford improve across nearly every vehicle category, including software, infotainment and powertrains. Ford ranked third overall, behind luxury brands Porsche and Genesis. The news drove Ford stock up 2% following the announcement.
