Hana F&I, Meritz Financial Each Launch 150B Won Bond Offerings Amid Credit Recovery

According to E-Daily on July 26, Hana F&I and Meritz Financial Holding each initiated 150 billion won bond offerings on July 27 and 29 respectively. Hana F&I, rated A+ by domestic credit agencies, plans issuance on August 4 with a potential 300 billion won expansion. Meritz Financial, rated AA0, targets August 6 issuance with up to 280 billion won in potential increases.

Recent corporate bond market demand shows resilience despite summer slowdown. SK Ecoplant and KCC recently secured bids exceeding issuance targets by 10 times and 6.9 times respectively, signaling recovering institutional investor appetite for credit assets as absolute yields rise.
